Hello everyone,

I am sad to announce that Auburn Sunset is no longer in development, and there are currently no plans on releasing the game to the public. There were many factors that led to this conclusion, but in short, much of the team that originally worked on the game is no longer here. The game was also made with a very outdated version of Flash that was bogged down by technical limitations and is simply no longer viable to work in. Migrating to a new engine would mean scrapping years of progress, and is sadly, not an option given my own time and priorities.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and efforts to the game, all the players who played the demo, and the amazing friends I've met along the way.

Perhaps one day, Auburn Sunset's story will be brought back, but until then, you can follow my other ongoing works outside of itch.io
